*If you have already completed the Psychotherapeutic Diploma at ROA or an equivalent, this course will allow you to complete a fourth year to obtain an Advanced Diploma in Psychotherapy.
Bursary
ROA, a privately funded college, offers bursaries to eligible individuals. The ROA Bursary Programme provides financial assistance to those pursuing psychotherapeutic counselling studies and training.

BACP student membership (£82 per year), supervision (average £40-60 per session), personal counselling (£30-£40 per session), insurance (on average £50 per year.

You must address these requirements in your statements in the application and responses to the criteria questionnaire, which has to be completed as part of the application process. We will send you course information to complete and return to the course administrator.
Securing a place
Our decision to offer a place is based on your written application form, the above entry requirements and your interview. The interview is a crucial element of the selection process. To be given a place, you must demonstrate the above requirements on the BACP website (BACP Ethical Framework).
Language Requirement
If English is not your first language, you must provide evidence of English language proficiency (oral and written) at level 5 to ensure that you can meet our course requirements. If you have yet to receive an English education, you may be required to take a test administered by The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) https://www.ielts.org/.
